Our shelves can be used in a variety of rooms, from Kitchens to display your plants and cookery books to alcoves in Lounge’s or extra storage space in Bedrooms or Office’s.
They are made to order and finished to a very high standard and will add character to any room.
They can be waxed or stained to suit your requirements. We offer various different finishes, please see our drop down menu.
All our boards are handmade so we can fully customise them, for example make them narrower in width i.e. a radiator shelf or wider for a breakfast bar.
We can also make them thinner in depth if required.
We choose only the best reclaimed boards and refinish them to make strong, solid and beautifully planed shelves which are smooth to the touch.
Our sample photos are only an indication as the final finished colour will depend on the shade of the board prior to refinishing. We strive to get as close a match as possible but the colour may be slightly lighter/darker depending on the individual board.
The shelves are natural products and will come with their own unique characteristics so may have knots, cracks, holes, bows. We feel this all adds to their rustic charm.
Brackets are not included.
We can supply brackets at an additional cost.
We would generally recommend to use 3 brackets for any shelves over 120cm in length.
When your shelf arrives, we advise that you remove all the packaging and allow the wooden shelf time to aclimatise to its new environment.
